This new creation experiments with the body through a dynamic structure, made up of three large tubular metal rods, linked to each other by elastic cords. The movement and the structure answer each other in the same dynamic. Faced with this body in tension, we witness a metaphysics of gesture that acts on our beings in a graceful hypnosis. On stage, a space is set up, thought in an architectural way. In this project, Maria Donata D’Urso calls upon a concept used both in the field of architecture and in the field of biology. It is the notion of “tensegrity”, a combination of the terms “tension” and “integrity”, aimed at describing one of the characteristics of our cell membranes.
